Chapter 1 -

The Death

Before we begin, it is highly recommended that you read either part of the History of DF RPs book, or the History of RP Wars (1), or else events in here may not make sense.
RP Wars, being the first and the only RP, was slowly seeing its close. As both players and the host, TheLoyalHorse, became inactive, the game is slowly seeing less and less gameplay. Regardless, the idea still proved to be great for many.
By the time the inactive players left, only one player, thecoolkid26, alongside the host, TheLoyalHorse, remained on the plot. By this point, TheLoyalHorse made the announcement that RP Wars has ended, and all of the land would be cleared, lost to history.
TheLoyalHorse never cleared the plot though, and the individual blocks and what they represented remained o n the top of the plot. By this point, two more players who found the concept interesting joined in.
Bloxhead7 and dylan34481, both of which were unable to spectate RP Wars, had learnt the general concept behind it, and joined the plot. TheLoyalHorse would give building permissions to them, while thecoolkid26 already had them, and RP Wars was being made.
Chapter 2 -

The Attempt

Very little is remembered about what the development of RP Wars 2 was like. Bloxhead7 gives the most detailed description, stating that -
The map and basic functions were made. He has a vivid image of Horse placing down ores and labeling them, which gives him reason to believe that both the map and some systems were made, as stated above.
thecoolkid26 does not have much memory of its creation, and he believes he played a minor role in its development.

dylan34481 has absolutely no memory of the event.
TheLoyalHorse has not been contacted yet, but it is highly unlikely that he'd remember the event, for reasons later discussed. He may be asked in the future, though.
The attempt most likely became futile due to inactivity, and apathy. None of the creators were really into RP games, as obviously, this was the only RP game in existence, and it was far too early to consider it a game type, rather than a concept.
From that point, RP Wars really was just nothing more than a proof of concept rather than the beginning of a genre that we all play today.

This gives us good reason to believe that the creators of RP Wars 2 stopped caring sometime during its
development, and work ceased.

What happened afterwards is a period of nothingness, until TheLoyalHorse most likely cleared the plot after seeing that it wasn't going to ever be continued. Again, it was lost to history.
Chapter 3 -

Significance

RP Wars 2 would go on to inspire absolutely no games. Three of the game creators would later on become Warlords players, and also host their first games without any inspiration from RP Wars 2.
thecoolkid26 would be the first of the three, hosting the Lands of Tckia, the fourth game to ever exist.

Bloxhead7 would host Echokia, a game that would introduce an entirely new genre to RP games.
dylan34481 would go on to host Epicloria, the first real joke RP game, that was barely played.

TheLoyalHorse, on the other hand, would never make an RP again. He'd attempt to make a coded version of an RP game, similarly to skps2010's
Empires (see DF RPs after Warlords book for further info), which would never be fully completed. He'd also never join Warlords, and lost contact with the other creators.
RP Wars 2 is not even considered a game (although Lands of Tckia being the 4th game does include it as a game), giving it absolutely no significance.

It does give us some history, and some fun facts to later tell.
For starters, besides RP Wars itself, RP Wars 2 was the only other RP game to precede Kingdoms, the popularizer of RP games.

It would also be the only game to be made within an informally called "Dark Age" of RP games,
a period of time between RP Wars's death and the release of Kingdoms where no RP games would be made, with the exception of the failure of RP Wars 2.

And, well, thats about it.
RP Wars 2 was the 'precursor' to Kingdoms, although Senor took all inspiration from RP Wars 1. It was a failure that we can talk about now as an obscure footnote of history. With that, I hope you enjoyed.
